Nonprofit Cafe // Google My Business, Keywords and Searchability

Join for One Valley’s free monthly nonprofit program, Nonprofit Cafe!

SESSION DESCRIPTION:

When you type "Bozeman non-profits" into the search bar, who shows up?

For many nonprofits, Google My Business is a little-known marketing tool. After all, it includes “business” in its name. Does your organization have a page yet? If it does, are you managing it? Increasing your searchability (SEO) isn't a "set it and forget it" situation. The good news? You don't need a big budget or expertise with running Google Ad Words to increase your searchability. Learn three simple steps to elevate your Google My Business page, increase your nonprofit's SEO and have the algorithm work for you.

WHO SHOULD JOIN:

This session is intended for any nonprofit staff, board members and volunteers. This course is ideal for people who:

  • Have an exiting Google My Business Page for their business

  • Are curious about Google My Business and searchability

No special skill sets are needed to attend and understand this course. This session is recommended for staff in marketing or outreach, as well as executive directors and board members who want to learn about whether investing time in Google tools is a good fit for their nonprofit.
