Informational Resources
-
Gallatin County has received federal funding to respond to and/or mitigate the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) approved by U.S. Congress and signed into law by President Joseph R. Biden. The ARPA provides a substantial infusion of resources to help cope with the economic and public health fallout of the pandemic, rebuild a stronger economy and assist persons, businesses and nonprofit entities that were disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.
-
The Gallatin County Commission voted on January 25th to provide $500,000 of Gallatin County’s American Rescue Plan Act funds to One Valley Community Foundation to grant to nonprofit organizations throughout Gallatin County that have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
These funds will provide grants to nonprofit organizations adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in support of their ongoing resiliency and efficacy as employers and providers of economic and social services in Gallatin County.
-
The Gallatin County Commission has committed $500,000 in Federal ARPA dollars to fund the Gallatin County Nonprofit Vitality Grant Program (GCNV), which includes a 5% administrative fee to support the grantmaking process by the One Valley Foundation. GCNV grants will be awarded with the objective of reviving or sustaining Gallatin County’s nonprofit sector and to ensure their ongoing resiliency and efficacy as employers and providers of services to our community.
-
To leverage these ARPA funds, Yellowstone Community Club Foundation partnered with One Valley to further leverage funding by providing matching dollars granted to organizations primarily serving Big Sky.
