The Regional Housing Coalition (RHC) is an ongoing project of the One Valley Community Foundation, convening diverse partners to coordinate and activate solutions to housing affordability and availability needs in Gallatin County. Based on the proven Mountain Housing Council model by the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation, One Valley is convening a collaborative and diverse group of decision-makers that will identify priorities and create an innovative and effective portfolio of solutions to regional housing issues.
A Seat at the Table
A Seat at the Table is a proven civic engagement initiative that activates community members to engage in local decision-making. At our inaugural event in 2018, 74% of participants said that housing was the most pressing need in our county. We intentionally designed A Seat at the Table 2021 to focus conversations and data gathering on housing affordability and attainability for those who live, work, and do business in Gallatin County. Thank you to those who contributed your voice to conversations about housing solutions in the Gallatin Valley.

Regional Housing Study
The Regional Housing Study highlights escalating costs of housing to purchase or rent, describes a county-wide housing shortage and illustrates how the costs of housing are not in alignment with wage growth. The study also provides ideas meant to catalyze the region to communicate, collaborate, and develop coordinated solutions to the housing needs of those who live, work, and do business in Gallatin County.
