FAQs

  • Your username is the email address where you received your MyFund account invitation. When you first log in, you’ll enter that email and receive a PIN to verify your access.

    Once you’re in, you can change your username by clicking Profile at the top of the screen and then Security from the side menu. You can update your username anytime from the Security section.

  • If you’re logged into the portal, go to Profile at the top of the screen and then Security from the side menu, then click Change Password to update your password.

    If you’ve forgotten your password, click Forgot Your Password? on the login page. A reset PIN will be emailed to the address linked to your account.

    Passwords must be at least 12 characters long and include one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character (!@#$%^&*()_).

    If you didn’t receive your invitation or need to update your email, contact Jennifer Owens at jennifer@onevalley.org or 406.587.6262 x40. We’re happy to verify your information and send a new invitation so you can access your account. Once your account is created, you can log into the MyFund Portal at any time.

  • If you have more than one fund, start by selecting the fund you’d like to use.

    Click the Create Grant Request button (usually on the right side of the screen). You’ll then choose from three options:

    • Previous Grantee – select an organization you’ve granted to before

    • Search Grantee – search for a nonprofit in the One Valley or national Candid database

    • Manual Grantee – enter details for a new organization if it’s not found in either database

    Choose the option that fits your needs and follow the prompts to enter the grant details. When finished, click Add to Cart to save the request.

    To complete your request, go to the Cart, click Review Grant Requests, and check the disclaimer box click Submit Grant Requests. Your grant is not submitted until you complete this step.

  • In the Create Grant Request screen, select Previous Grantee and scroll to the Other Foundation Funds textbox. From there, choose the One Valley fund you’d like to support—such as the Better Together Fund or another internal fund.

  • If the grant supports a specific chapter or project, include that information. If it’s for general support, simply write “unrestricted support.”
