DESCRIPTION:
When your board members joined the board, were they clear on their collective and individual roles in raising funds for your organization? When board members are asked to assist in fundraising, is there a deafening silence? Is there clarity on the board as to what fundraising REALLY means? Join Kari Anderson with Incite! Consulting to demystify the board's role in ensuring that there's financial capital for your organization, discuss the development cycle and their preferred role, and how organizational storytelling makes fundraising SO easy! The presentation will occur via discussion format with accompanying PP slides. While fundraising is nonprofit staff's responsibility, engaging the board moves fundraising from good to great at your shop!
WHO SHOULD JOIN:
Board chairs, board fund development committee chairs, board members, Executive Directors, and Development staff.
