WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
You marched, developed an equity statement with your organization, and committed yourself to action for justice in the wake of the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and others.  It's now time for your next board meeting. What's it mean to lead in your nonprofit in order to further equity and justice from the board of directors? What is the role of nonprofit leaders, especially for board members, to sustain action towards more just communities. How can you start a conversation about justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion with your fellow board members. Hear from BIPOC Board Members and local leaders on how board members may lead change within their institutions, and how executive directors can support this overdue work that builds community, health, justice, opportunity and more.
